Jun 27, 2022 · I've read from a lot of people on various subreddits that AMD stock coolers are really bad at cooling. Im planning to get a Ryzen 5600X and am wondering if the Stock Coolers would be able to cool the CPU.

May 26, 2021 · I've never touched an Intel stock cooler, but based on Google it looks like the fan is part of the cooler assembly. You could cut the plastic holding it to the plastic rim around the outside of the cooler, and then the fan's free, but it'll be really annoying to mount.

People have reported it is pretty good, and they have managed to OC the 1700 to 3.7 GHz with the stock with good temps. How's the noise? I agree the Spire probably doesn't match the 212 - but downblowing coolers have some advantages (apart from being compact).

Jan 29, 2020 · Stack it on top of your current cooler to double the heat dispersion capacity. Keep it in the box it came with. Makes it easier to either sell the CPU or send it in for RMA issues later on. This goes for all tech. Keep it as a spare, or idk do some overkill chipset cooling with it.
