Any opinions on Sinopec hydraulic oil? / other low-priced fluids?

Dec 13, 2019 · I was in the truck with the big cam before we changed the oil you could here the engine mechanically like you could hear all the metal moving down beside you. When we changed it with the sinopec the engine was much quieter mechanically. The 466e engine is very hard on oil it holds better oil pressure. I can't speak for how it sounded mechanically.

Apr 15, 2016 · Nige and/or others have mentioned "major oil companies", to us Americans that means an oil distributor with a name that you recognize as an international oil company. Possibly including Texaco(venezuela) and/or Sinopec(china).

Oct 31, 2020 · I'm on my second keg of Sinopec 5% moly. I grease every day and use it in bearings as well as pin/bushing joints. I have air greasers with 30'+ hoses on my service truck and on my delivery truck so that I always have plenty of grease with me.

I bought the last batch delivered from walmart.com Sinopec was selling for 33/5gal then it jumped to 45/5gal when I flushed it out 6 months ago. Not sure what the price is these days. I've always used T4 rotella 15/40 in the engine with some lucas additive.

Apr 27, 2023 · I said no thanks for over 140 bucks a bucket. The Deere dealer has it for 150 something a bucket. I think I'll just get a compatible fluid shipped to me. It's cheaper than the dealer. I almost cheaped out on some sinopec ashless for 64 a bucket but it just didn't seem right.

Apr 27, 2020 · I've been using Sinopec in most of my hydraulic systems for the past few years and I've not had any issues. First, I tried their 46 & 68 hydraulic oils and later, I tried the semi synthetic motor oil. I've not had any problems at all. I do know their hydraulic oil is very slick and tough to get off of my hands.
