Nov 2, 2024 · Some games allow PS5 Pro to select the standard modes, even if they're inferior to the Pro mode(s). This is shown by standard modes having both open and filled numbers. For Game Boost entries, all the numbers will be filled. That's because the Pro is literally using the exact same modes as standard PS5, just usually running better.

The Pro resolution and balanced mode can still drop some frames (traversal stutter and / or heavy combat scenes) The Pro resolution mode has actually more fps drops in heavy combat than base PS5 resolution mode.

Feb 27, 2025 · Forza Horizon 5 on PS5 features two rendering modes to choose from: Performance (60fps) and Quality (30fps). On PS5 Pro, the Performance mode receives increased visual fidelity, while Quality mode adds ray traced car reflections to Races and Free Roam. Feb 21, 2025 · Might be because 2023 was an ultra massive year. I dont think PS5 will ever beat 2023. I mean.....just compare Xbox's peak vs PS5's peak. 2022 was also when Sony stated they would have really low stock staring Jan 2022. And that lasted until June or July 2022.

Feb 24, 2025 · DD2 has seen the most improvement since PS5 Pro launch, I'll give Capcom credit for following up with that initial launch state. I haven't firmly established who to blame or what factors to point to as to why this user experience is so comparably inconsistent in delivering on my expectations.

Footage shows that these run at higher framerates on Pro--akin to Boost Mode for them, living alongside the explicit and novel Pro mode. (We already knew Insomniac's titles are like this, but it's good to have evidence for this game too.)
