The Buffalo Sabres have signed former New York Rangers defenseman Zac Jones to a one-year, two-way contract worth $900,000 in the NHL and $550,000 in the AHL.

The contract has an AAV of $775,000 Jones, a third-round pick of the Rangers in 2019, played in 46 games for New York in 2024-25, averaging 17:15 of ice time per night and recording 11 points.
