West Ham united technical director Tim Steidten is leaving the London side after new manager Graham Potter brought his own head of recruitment, the Premier League club said on Tuesday.

The Republic of Ireland international has joined on loan craving game time and should thrive under a familiar coaching setup

West Ham had been in the hunt for the striker during the winter window after the long-term injuries sustained by Michail Antonio, Niclas Fullkrug and Jarrod Bowen. The England forward did return following his foot injury in Monday night’s 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge, though, and had put the Hammers into the lead.
