Joshua Jefferson made two free throws with 4.1 seconds left in overtime after forcing it with a buzzer-beating layup and third-ranked Iowa State won their 11th consecutive game.

Texas Tech led, 74-72, with six seconds left in regulation and called timeout to set its defense. That move also benefited ISU, however, which saw Jefferson sink a contested layup off a Tamin Lipsey assist with 0.2 seconds remaining to send the game to overtime.
