Bayern Munich manager Vincent Kompany said his blood was “boiling” after young forward Jamal Musiala suffered a broken leg and dislocated ankle in Saturday’s Club World Cup defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.

Musiala was stretchered off the pitch after appearing to suffer a bad lower leg injury, with the Bayern Munich midfielder visibly distressed as he left the pitch during the quarterfinal against PSG in Atlanta.

Paris Saint-Germain have beaten Bayern Munich 2-0 in an incident-filled quarter-final at the Club World Cup that saw Jamal Musiala suffer a horrific injury. Musiala was taken off the pitch on a stretcher after suffering a severe ankle injury in a collision with Gianluigi Donnarumma at the end of the first half.
