If the version of the Houston Texans that showed up on Saturday afternoon appears next week, it’s time to buy into the franchise’s chances of making history. Which begs the question;

The Texans’ defense tallied four interceptions (two by cornerback Derek Stingley) and four sacks while holding the Chargers to 3-of-11 on third-down attempts. Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert threw three interceptions in the entire regular season.

Justin Herbert, Derwin James, Bradley Bozeman, Khalil Mack, Rashawn Slater and Denzel Perryman were the Chargers captains. The Texans won the toss and elected to defer. The Charge
