Several teams have filled their head coaching vacancies and are assembling their staffs while other teams are in the process of improving their coordinators and clearing cap space for a massive salary cap increase.

A factor is certainly Kansas City defensive tackle Chris Jones. The man is a beast. And the Bills had run their 'tush push' the left - Jones' side - all season and did not adjust against the Chiefs.

In 2024 they made a similar move. $14,875,000 of Allen’s pay was converted into bonuses, bringing his salary down to $1,125,000. This restructure netted him a total of $60 million cash for the season while freeing up $16,700,000 in cap space.
