State voters have a variety of opinions over how Wisconsin elections are run and various levels of confidence on the results - especially if their candidate won.

"These charges are serious, deeply troubling, and strike at the core of public trust," Rep. Tyler August, R-Walworth, said in a statement. "We will continue to monitor the legal process, but Assembly Republicans stand prepared to act decisively if these serious allegations are confirmed.

Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan was elected in 2016. She spent much of her earlier career working on behalf of low-income people and marginalized groups.

A Wisconsin Elections Commission discussion of uncounted ballots in Madison devolved into a shouting match, with the Democratic chair threatening to kick a Republican commissioner out of the meeting.
