Pakistan’s national airline has come under fire for a “tone deaf” advert that appears to show a plane flying into the Eiffel Tower.

EU regulators imposed a ban on Pakistan International Airlines, the country’s state-owned airline, following a series of accidents.

In a PIA ad many found more threatening than welcoming, the graphic showed a plane going straight toward the Eiffel Tower. ‘Paris, we’re coming today,’ the caption read.
