Strong macroeconomic fundamentals are likely to help India sustain its growth momentum even as the global economy faces uncertainty amid the escalating trade tensions, the Reserve Bank of India said in its March bulletin on Wednesday.

Growth outlooks in the United States and several other countries are projected to slow this year and next, as uncertainty on trade and economic policy takes their toll.

"A series of recently announced trade policy measures will have implications for the economic outlook if sustained," the OECD said.
