It has been two years since Temple University Health System took over Chestnut Hill Hospital and the efforts has left to a strong turnaround, writes John George for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The deal for the 67-acre Brandywine Hospital closed three years and almost three months after the Coatesville medical center shuttered.

The results include Chestnut Hill Hospital, which Temple has owned in a joint venture with Redeemer Health and the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine since the beginning of 2023.

The figures exclude a $6 million equity loss for Chestnut Hill Hospital, which Temple Health owns in a partnership with Redeemer Health and Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
