In a post game interview with Tracy Wolfson of CBS, Tom Izzo got emotional talking about his team. With his team behind him, Izzo shared how much he loves his guys, and talked about their never quit attitude. In typical Izzo fashion, though, he made sure to throw in a coaching point in his comments.

After taking down No. 15 seed Bryant and No. 10 seed New Mexico, Izzo and No. 2 seed Michigan State finally got their first Power Four opponent of March Madness, defeating Sean Pedulla and No. 6 seed Ole Miss Rebels 73-70.
