Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis was removed from the Georgia election interference case against President-elect Donald Trump last month, but she's asking Georgia's highest court to reverse that decision.

Her filing asks Georgia's high court to consider whether the lower court wrongly disqualified her “based solely upon an appearance of impropriety and absent a finding of an actual conflict of interest or forensic misconduct” and whether the state Court of Appeals erred “in substituting the trial court's discretion with its own” in this case.
