Anthony Davis has undergone an offseason surgery to repair a detached retina, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported Tuesday. The Mavericks big man, according to Charania, played through the injury last season and is expected to be available for the start of training camp ahead of the 2025-26 season.

Anthony Davis is no stranger to injuries, either, having dealt with many throughout his career. Even in his short time in Dallas, he missed over a month due to the adductor injury that he suffered in his first game in a Mavericks uniform. However, there may have been one that was overlooked.
