If you're in the area take the tour of Daytona Int'l Speedway. You'll learn so much about the history, engineering and NASCAR Racing. Kids and adults will love it. Full review by judy g

First time visiting the Raceway. We were amazed with all the info we received from our tour guide. The experience riding around the track was awesome. The museum was just an added bonus to our tour. Full review by jerrydG4498EM

I would be there 30 min before tour. Be sensitive to traffic, surface streets are not as fast as the speedway.

since the track opened in 1959 there has always been some sort of tour

It was not busy when we went / it was in January probably week day / we drove from orlando

We did go out in the middle where the paddock are and the stage where they receive trophy - but did not go on the track
